Swelling and Sore Throat Old Folks Remedies



During the Cold weather sore throats are so common they are one of the main reasons people visit a doctor. But it is not always necessary because most sore throats are caused by a virus and go away in about a week. Only a small percentage may require medical care.

Curing a sore throat and swelling with Old folks remedies:

Melt 2-3 teaspoons of salt to one glass of water, gurgle the salty water in your throat and on the infected area.
Cut an onion into strips, squeeze the spicy juice out, add one spoon of honey and drink right away.

Squeeze a fresh lemon, gurgle 3 times a day.

Mix an uncooked egg yolk, one tablespoon of sugar and one tablespoon of brandy or cognac. Swallow every 15 minutes.

Cook garlic cloves and dried peeled onion in boiling water until soften and eat.
Eggnog home remedy: Mix 1 cup of hot milk, 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon of honey then drink.
Eat 1 tablespoon of honey several times a day.

Suck on lemon can also add sugar or honey.

Eat black olives.

Drink a cup of tea with lemon and honey.................................................................................................. ..................................... Mix 2 tablespoons of sesame oil and one tablespoon of honey. Take one spoon 3 times a day.
