Famous American Football plyer Mike Vick to enter Guilty Plea

Michael Vick, the American Footballer at the centre of a controversial court case is said to be entering a potentially career ending guilty plea in relation to charges of orchestrating dog fighting events and illegal gambling.
Vick, of the Atlanta Falcons, is charged with running a dog fighting ring on his Virginia property, could face up to 18 months in prison if found guilty.
It is believed that Vick's treatment of his own dogs will influence the degree to which he is punished by the courts. During the trial, it came to light that Vick would execute his own dogs if they lost a fight, with hanging being one of the preferred methods.
The NFL, the league in which Vick found fame as a star quarter-back, is yet to clarify what sanctions it will take against the player, but it is believed that Vick will be sacked and not permitted to resume his playing after any spell in prison.
Many of Vick's sponsors, including Reebok and Nike have withdrawn their association with the record breaking quarter-back.
