FLU- Its time to get your Flu Shot- I have been sick nd now I ask for your Help

I want my readers to know that I have not been blogging for sometime because besides my computer giving me trouble and not working right, I have been awfuly sick with the flu and have been bed-ridden for about three weeks. I have been really sick and miserable and this is why Im riting this article in hopes it will be of help to you all. I hve been on all kinds of medicines and tody I feel a bit beter enough to post this article. I hope to be feeling much better as the days to come. Even if you are active and in good health, you have a higher risk of complications if you get the flu.  Each year about 36,000 people in the U.S. die because of the flu.  Most are 65 or older.    People with chronic (ongoing) or long-term heath problems.  You my look and feel healthy but if you certain conditions you are more likely to have problems from the flu.  THese include diabetes or heart, kidney or lung disease.  If your immune system is weak from problems like cancer, or HIV/Aids, you need a flu shot. (The flu shot is safe for people with weak immune sysems.)      MYTH: " The flu shot can cause the flu."                                                                               FACTS: Most of the time the flu shot will prevent the flu.  In studies, the flu shot is 70% to 90% effective when there is a good match between the current viruss nd the ones in the vaccine.  The vacine is your best protection against the flu...  MYTH: The side effect you are most likely to get from  flu shot is a sore arm.  The nasal mist flu vaccine might cause nasal congestion, runny nose, sore throat and cough.  THe risk of severe allergic reaction is less than 1 in 4 million.   MYTH: You must get the flu vaccine before December.      Facts: Flu vaccine can be given before or during the flu season.
